credit: http://medianetwork.blogspot.com Radio Netherlands available in SE England on Spectrum Radio Spectrum Radio, a commercial radio station dedicated to serving the the ethnic communities in London, is now carrying Radio Netherlands 6 days a week Mon-Sat at 1400-1500 local time (1300-1400 UTC). Misleadingly listed in the online schedule as "Dutch Programme", this is in fact a relay of the English service that goes out on WRN at this time. Spectrum Radio is audible across a wide area of SE England on mediumwave 558 kHz, and on Mon-Fri the Radio Netherlands service is also available on Spectrum Radio via DAB, Sky Digital Channel 935, and online. Sept .: Free Studio copies of RJOY´s birthday show (120 min) were sent to any interested listener; Introduction of the wonderful RADIO JOYSTICK (RJOY) - QSL-cards. Nov.: Introduction of the first legendary RJOY-stickers! 1987 Jan.: Only on 3rd of Jan. the RJOY-show could be heard via RMI; end of Jan. the RMI- shortwave-transmitter signed off - for ever! Until July weekly Black Musik Shows (120 min) for Radio Telstar Int. in East Belgium. 1987 March: Charlie´s first show for "Kabelfunk Dortmund" of the "Westdeutscher Rundfunk" (WDR).
