Media Network URL To Change
credit: http://medianetwork.blogspot.com NB: The URL of the media network Weblog will be changing shortly For those of why you don't subscribe to our weekly Newsletter, please note that due to continuing technical problems at Blogger, we've prioritized our move to another platform. Radio Netherlands is to have its own corporate blogging platform, and Media Network will be the first part of it to go live. Next week we will try to import the 5000+ messages we've published in the past three years, and we may be able to go live later next week or the week after. We will, in any case, keep this blog open for some time after the change, with a link to the new one. In the meantime, it's "business as usual", though Blogger continues to have a lot of unplanned downtime, so we may not be able to update as fast as we would like. |
Man Who Posed as DJ and Asked Listeners to Strip Wins Appeal

UK's Channel 4 television launches new radio site
Credit: http://medianetwork.blogspot.com UK TV broadcaster Channel 4 has decided to move into the radio market. The station is bidding for a DAB licence, but in the meantime today it's launching a new website called 4radio, and says: "We are going to create the next generation of radio and there’s never being a better time to do it. That’s why we’ve launched 4Radio. We are going to create new ways of connecting people through listening: Our programmes will initially be accessible as downloads or streamed from the web. "On 5th June we launched a wide range of exclusive on-demand radio programmes including the daily C4 News Morning Report, the Official Big Brother Podcast, Miquita Oliver’s Twisted Tens, UK Lost and the Kipper Country Code . This is just the beginning of a roll out of on-demand radio programmes and services that will complement our upcoming national digital radio (DAB) multiplex bid. We will offer new programmes to audiences who don’t currently feel that radio gives them what they want." Users are required to register (free) in order to access downloads from the site. 4radio |
